Window Cleaning
I will use a soap and water solution and squeegees to clean the glass and then detail the edges with surgical towels. Small bits of paint and other stubborn substances on the glass will come off with a razor or scratch-free nylon scrub pad. I will vacuum and/or wipe clean the sills, whatever is working best, and brush off any spider webs from around the frames. Wiping the screens with micro fiber finishes the process.
Construction Cleanup
Removing stickers, caulking, and paint from fabrication or installation takes special care. At times, the glass isn’t just glass! It can be very prone to scratching. Experience with tempered or other specialty glass is essential to knowing how to approach this type of job.
Glass Restoration
Eliminating metal oxide residue caused by metal screens, hard water deposits, or other types of stains will require restoration. Sometimes the stains can be removed with superfine steel wool or a light acid, but it may take a stronger hydrochloric acid detergent to lift them, depending on the severity.
Exterior Light Fixture Cleaning
Exterior light fixtures get dusty and covered in spider webs. These fixtures are beautiful and will shine again after a thorough cleaning.
Interior Glass Cleaning
Indoor glass like French doors, mirrors, and glass tables get dusty and filmy, too. If you would like them added to the job, just let me know. I can also take a look at your chandelier and give you an estimate.
